Only one course on Koh Samui at the moment – but it’s a good one. Santiburi Samui Country Club is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the most scenic and challenging to play in Asia. Voted by members of Golf Digest as one of the top 10 in Asia, this golf course is a real beauty. It is not your usual golf resort course suited to high handicap players, but rather a top Championship Course with spectacular scenery wrapping around the hills of Koh Samui. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. Take a lot of balls if your golf handicap is over 12 +. You will need them as the fairways are butted up against some serious jungle and the landing areas are often out of sight over hills and meandering valleys. This is definitely a cart course - even the pro tour uses them when the Asian Tour visits. A must play if you are a serious golfer staying at the Renaissance in Koh Samui
